I’ve been photographing Frank Paparozzi aka ‘Frank DeVille’ since we met back in high school in the Washington DC suburbs.  Growing up, he spent his summers in Seaside Heights NJ and continues to work there on the boardwalk performing magic every summer still. I’ve visited him on the shore almost every summer since and am presenting here some of my older images taken of him and the Seaside Heights area and newer images taken this last summer.
Seaside Heights is very special to me having spent so many summers up there. Talking to Frank after Hurricane Sandy devastated much of the Jersey Shore last October, I was very relieved to hear that his family’s home there was not damaged too much and that he’d be returning to work the boardwalk again.  Last summer of 2013 I was able to visit him twice and photograph the left over destruction and rebuilding of the Seaside Heights area and Frank’s life there.
I hope to continue to spend my summer vacations in Seaside Heights and document it’s recovery.

It’s good to be back in the saddle shooting portraits after a looong stretch of nothing but objects and corporate/event crap.

Last July I went to NYC with my lovely fiancee Sandy and her brother to collect the trial pair of Google Glass that she won for submitting an idea in the “ If I had Glass...” contest.

It was a lovely rainy day to be in NYC especially since it was her birthday.  We even saw a rainbow while in the East Village! I believe it grew in Brooklyn..

Later that week, you can see I took some product shots of the Glass for her to share with her co-workers (and for some table top photo fun).

Some new work in the current issue of DC Magazine.
